this is true, i was told this morning she had gone and now it's confirmed on DS.

Paul Marquess will take over i beleive.

Really? I know I didn't like some of her SLs (Newt de-emo!) but she wasn't awful like

thank god. it sounds blunt but she's almost had a year and hollyoaks has been truly SHOCKING!! the only good bits have been the continuation of BKs storylines. i was really really disappointed with the built up storylines that turned out to be rubbish, particularly the Ste/Lucas/Abi/Daniel storyline.

Actually, what were her so called 'big' storylines. the lydia/zoe one was a continuation from hollyoaks later (kind of) and apart from hannah's relapse i genuinley cant think of any. Admittedly im having a mind blank but still...

She rushed Hannah's relapse soo bad tho
but even tho none of her SLs were very good, I'm really shocked to hear she has been fired!

Bit of background on the new boss Paul Marquess. He produced Brookside, Family Affairs, The Bill and MIT. He also created Footballers Wives!

About time! I feel really bad for her though, because she must be quite a good Producer to have gotten the job in the first place, and she did a good job on later but I think that she mustve just been overwhelmed.

I feel fairly indifferent to her I'm afraid. I can't empathize with the mind that couldn't see the magic that was the original Newt.

Thank god Hollyoaks hasn't been as good with her in charge

SOOOOOOO happy about this. She was completely rubbish. She took a show that was starting to decline and made it plummet faster than Sarah Barnes did.

This new guy created Footballer's Wives? Oh My God! He better make Hollyoaks awesome again. Hopefully he'll axe the rubbish characters (Sasha, Duncan and Ricky first please!) and bring in a new mega-bitch like Tanya Turner!

saw it coming , The Christmas/New Year storyline ending was a huge let down, i was really enjoying the Lydia/Zoe stuff, but the ending was so dull.
I hope this new guy does a better job than Lucy did

Am I the only one who is actually sad she's gone?? Everyone seems really happy about it from what I've read and saying that Hollyoaks has been rubbish!! Although HO hasn't been at it's best I thought some of the storylines were good and it's sad that she's gone, although I'm interested to see what Paul Marquess will do.

OMG LMAO this is probably the best news hollyoaks has ever had. It went so downhill after she started it was unreal, I know I haven't watched in a few months, but I was at the point where I was actually getting depressed watching it haha, it was so boring.

So hopefully this new guy makes it better

id be worried people footballers wives for me wouldnt shout out good times ahead...but that would just be me lol
